We almost had our first casualties from health care socialism

As the Boston Globe reported yesterday;

WASHINGTON - Two federal agencies charged with keeping potential terrorists off airplanes and out of the country have been without their top leaders for nearly a year.

It took the Obama administration more than eight months to nominate former FBI agent and police detective Erroll Southers to lead the Transportation Security Administration and former US attorney Alan Bersin to head Customs and Border Protection.

Bogged down with health care reform, the Senate has yet to set a date to hold hearings for the Customs position, and Republican Senator Jim DeMint has placed a hold on the president’s choice to head the TSA over concerns that he would let screeners join a labor union.

This just puts a finer point on one of the harsher realities of the healthcare boondoggle. While Obama fiddles, Rome burns. We have two wars going on, a financial meltdown created by the Democrat Congress and Senate of 2006, and every despot in the world going nuclear while the appeasement window is open(until 2012). And the entire Legislative and Executive branches are mired in jamming a socialist healthcare plan down our throats, asleep at the wheel on every other issue.

Every unemployed or underemployed American sees the effects of this dereliction of duty every day, but the rest of us almost got a good hard look at it on Christmas Day in Detroit. The intelligence agencies have been under siege since January of 2009, dealing with accusations of torture and dishonesty from the President and Speaker of the House, but now some of them are literally rudderless while Washington lines it's pockets and those of it's insurance and pharma lobbyists. Every day our political leadership remains paralyzed in a suicidal death-stare match with 65% of Americans is a day we are less safe than we were before, and our enemies seem to be well aware of that.

Can we start the impeachment hearings now?

Another winner from the internet

This was the guy's first boat and he was anxious to take it out, but he was not quite sure of the correct procedure for launching a boat off a ramp. However, he figured it couldn't be that difficult to do, so he stopped by his Union office for advice, and they just told him...

"Don't let the trailer get too deep in the water when you're launching your boat".

Well later on, he couldn't understand what they meant by that, as he just could barely get his trailer in the water!

An Afghan anti riot policeman looks on in Kabul, Afghanistan, Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, during a protest against the recent killings of 10 civilians allegedly by coalition forces in Kunar province. The head of a presidential delegation investigating the deaths in eastern Afghanistan concluded Wednesday that civilians, including schoolchildren, were killed in the attack involving foreign troops, disputing NATO reports that the dead were insurgents. (AP Photo/Musadeq Sadeq)

An Afghan man, wearing a headband that reads 'Don't kill more,' chants anti-American slogans during a protest Wednesday in Kabul over the alleged deaths of 10 civilians in a weekend NATO raid

I see that where ever Americans are being slaughtered by savage Islamic militants, foreign(and I suspect domestic) anti-war groups are fast to show up with groups of planted extras to brazenly claim America and NATO are the ones killing indiscriminantly. Are some claims of accidental civillian deaths true? Surely, just as there are isolated cases of human activity altering the climate, but when far-left zealots and their cohorts seize both as policy shaping blunt objects, color me a skeptic. But, there are legions in our own country only too willing to join any and all anti-American witchhunts, including the current one where CIA officers, Marines, and Navy SEALs are dragged before panel after panel with less rights than Kalid Sheik Mohammed will be enjoying in a few months in New York City.

And, while we fecklessly strive to psychoanalyze our enemies under the new socialist world order of Obama, our enemies - foreign and domestic - understand how to play us only all too well. After watching the massive deceptions perpetrated against allegedly educated Westerners on matters such as the Vietnam war, the Iraq war, the Soviet Union in the 1950s through 1980s, Global warming, and even the U.S. economy by rabid leftists, it is only natural that these two factions would eventually unite first in tactics, eventually in common cause; destruction of the capitalist, free market world.
Which gets me to my point. Notice in the press reports replicated across the internet that every time Americans are slaughtered, the aforementioned plants are showing up with high-quality, professionally made head bands, signs, and banners, all containing the slogan "Don't Kill More", "Stop killing us", or other left-wing, bumpersticker gibberish pointed directly at liberal appeasers. If I were a member of the U.S. and/or NATO intelligence community, I would follow the money to find out who is funding these SEIU-style protests(protesting Tea Parties at home, American soldiers abroad, the classic two front war). These don't look like they were made in some Afghani hut out of straw and berry-dye.

I would say it is a safe bet that the money trail leads back to the same people that funded Cindy Sheehan's PR assault on President Bush(since abandoned when she became critical of Democrats), the "Human Shield" project, the disruption of supplies coming through Fort Lewis, Washington, and other dastardly subversive attacks on the war effort. I'd be really surprised to see that at least a few off-shore funnel accounts didn't go back directly to George Soros.
The blurry line between dissent and treason has gotten more blurry in recent years, with the left wing suddenly defining Fox News reporting on Van Jones, conservative blogging, and the Tea Party movement as treason, but those funneling millions of dollars from American capital into undermining the war effort abroad "patriotism", I think it is time to clearly define that line once more(probably just another item that will have to wait until November 2010). I'd like to know who is paying for PR campaigns in the middle east to make American soldiers and our allies out to be murderers, while trying to paint jihadists in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Detroit as lonely, misunderstood bloggers.

Barrack Obama, the most dangerous communist in Washington since Alger Hiss Part II

Not since Alger Hiss have I seen a government employee do so much to harm our country for Russia's benefit. I am sure if you were to go to Moscow, you would see a lot of "Hope! Change!" bumper stickers outside of the Kremlin, they will be actively supporting this jackass in 2012.

So, basically, under President Obama, every foreign government in the world can access all of our national secrets, but American citizens can't read the 2000 page healthcare takeover bill before their Senators vote on it. That's transparency, Democrat style.

Barrack Obama, the most dangerous communist in Washington since Alger Hiss Part I

First Putin conned Obama and his JV team of advisors into abandoning our Eastern European missile defenses, and now he is going to get them to show the Russians all of our nuclear technlogy. Kind of reminds me of Bill Gates asking for a tour of Apple back in the 80s, or of Bill Clinton giving Kim Jong Il nuclear technology so "North Koreans could develop power". North Korea still remains virtually blacked out, and KJI now uses his nuclear weapons as a loaded gun at the head of the rest of the world. What useful idiots Democrats are to the world's despots.

Transparency

I went to get this cartoon from the source(it was emailed to me), so from his signature, I googled "Summers Orlando Sentinel", and found the following; "We're sorry, this artist is no longer featured on our site."

I guess the White House Communications Director called them up and gently suggested they get rid of the hateful, divisive cartoonist.

Invictus

Moonbat Boston Herald film critic James Verniere says that, in essence, Invictus is as much about Obama as it is Mandella (and the Lion King);

Whether the two-time Best Director Academy Award winner likes it or not, “Invictus” is a movie for the Age of Obama. In many ways the leonine Mandela that Morgan Freeman gives us in a spellbinding, instant Oscar-bait performance, and can be said to be derived equally from Obama, Freeman and the Lion King himself.

He then schizophrenically says that Freeman’s Mandela stands like a Colossus above the action - courteous, wise, courtly and deferential. Where are the Obama traits in that character? Let's ask all none of the Republicans he has worked with on policy since taking office.

I think - as usual - Verniere has his wires crossed, as he did when comparing George Bush to Agamemnon in Troy. No, I don't think Clint Eastwood made this movie about Obama, but rather has made this movie for Obama. Nelson Mandela is the reason why I was so angered when Barrack Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, it cheapened Mobita's Peace Prize. You see, Nelson Mandela was a true hero, one of the most powerful uniters in the contemporary - perhaps complete - political history of the world. Nelson Mandela was able to take the post-appartheid Presidency of South Africa under whose yoke he suffered for 27 years, and not once did he mention how he "inheritted this mess" from his predecessor, or complain about his lot in life, or take petty revenge against his political opponents, or act like whites and blacks should be treated differently by his government.

All that being said in the context of Obama, the Great Divider, the movie is good right out of the gates for the story it tells, it is a big story worth seeing. Matt Damon does amazingly well with his Afrikaner accent, but not so well with his range; for the entire movie, he seems like Matt Damon playing a rugby player, or someone in the "Who the hell is that?" section of Maxim when standing amongst the real rugby players. And while the emotional national ride that South Africa embarks on is captivating, Damon and even Freeman fail to fully deliver the emotion from the two central characters, all the dramatic tension is specific to South Africa and Mandela's solutions to their race relation problems. Also, it felt as if more was borrowed from other movies than is the norm for Clint Eastwood, none more blatantly so than a line lifted from Kurt Russell's Herb Brooks.

But, an Eastwood film on it's worst day is a few cuts above most of the rest of Hollywood on their best, I'd give this a solid 3 stars. However, I definitely disagree with Verniere; when Mandela reads a headline on his first day in office saying "He can win an election, but can he run a country", Mandela says "That's a fair question", and forges off into history to answer it for all the world in the affirmative. Obama? Not so much. If anything, he'd direct his Media Czar to publicly attack any newspaper that dare print such blasphemy.

If there is only one movie Barrack Obama sees this year, it should be Invictus!

Kamikaze Democrats

Consistent with the most partisan and least transparent Congress in history, we had the passage of the first major piece of legislature in history to pass completely along partisan lines - the Left Wing socialized health care takeover - dumped on us on Christmas Eve, when people are intentionally ignoring politics. But all the unconstitutional news wasn't contained in that complete abomination against the Republic. The legislative branch also simultaneously raised the American debt ceiling to $12.4 trillion, left the $6 million each in compensation to Fannie and Freddie fatcat CEOs intact while attacking private sector CEOs, and uncapped the limits on Fannie and Freddie's deficit spending for the next three years. Fannie and Freddie had previously been capped at $200 billion each for good reason; now that these two companies are essentially wealth redistribution spigots for the left wing and the New Deal's repeal-proof FHA, those caps protected American taxpayers. Now, said taxpayers are as protected as a group of college students in a Prague brothel.

The political leadership of this country is officially out of control, we have elected leaders in both the Executive and Legislative branches(a branch in Democrat control since 2006, a fact that 85% of Obama supporters polled were unaware of, a testament to the ignorance of Daily Show Nation) violating the Constitution not just often, but eagerly, but where then is my Judicial branch? The FHA in it's original form was an unconstitutional boondoggle, along with the rest of the New Deal, but it seems when FDR crammed the Marxist "general welfare" argument down the throats of his Supreme Court at proverbial gun point, he forever reduced the Judicial Court to a feckless referee at a corrupt Soviet soccer match. Much of the legislation of the past 40 years is unconstitutional in that it exceeds the enumerated powers that the Constitution grants to Federal government. The 10th Amendment again reiterated the role of federal government, specifically where it would otherwise encroach upon the rights of the states of the Republic, yet - as Edna Mole says in the Incredibles - here we are.

Nothing is going to change in the next 11 months, that is for sure. As a matter of fact, it is going to get only worse. The Marxist left currently in power is full of Kamikaze Democrats who are betting that if they radically expand government, even at the cost of their own seat in the House or Senate, they will find a nice fatcat lobbyist or bureaucrat job in the bloated, swelling new agencies they are helping to create. Why else would an elected body so blatantly violate the will of the majority of Americans heading in to an election year? No, it is work performed by some crass political actuary, working on the mother of all Five Year Plans(miss the reference? Look up Vladmir Lenin, and the 8th Congress of 1920, USSR). The betting is that the long term gains for the far left of the Democrat party far exceed any personal loss of members of the party. All elected Democrats, including Harry Reid, have been taken aside and assured like Clay Davis in The Wire that if they go quietly into the night, the party will take care of them like the mob caring for the families of incarcerated members. I can almost picture Rahm Emmanuel calling Tom Daschle into the office "Why, just ask Tom. He's so rich, he forgets to pay his taxes You're going to be fine Harry, trust us..."

So, we come to 2010 and the most pivotal vote since the first post-New Deal election. Back then, in 1942, the American public dealt the heavy-handed FDR a crushing political blow. The bloodbath for Democrats was the worst since the Civil War when they tried to defend America slavery, and most of the New Deal was repealed. As previously mentioned, only the FHA and Social Security survived, and both of them lived to grow into Marxist, destructive apparatuses that left us on the brink of another Great Depression in 2008(Wall Street played a part, but don't be fooled, K Street is currently the most economically destructive force in American history. Barney Frank's perversion of the FHA was the lynchpin of the economic meltdown of 2008). What will people do? Will Daily Show Nation win out, protect this Democrat majority and allow it to cement more repeal proof socialism into our culture? This was what Alexis de Tocqueville predicted, when he said "The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money." Or will intelligent Americans rally, drop their "Both sides suck!" childishness and take back our political process, and with it the Republic?

It remains to be seen. I can usually make pretty good political predictions, but I predicted Barrack Obama would not win in 2008. Not because he was black, because he was clearly a radical marxist. Even through the fog of left wing media, any fool could see this, yet, a majority of voters elected an openly radical marxist to the most powerful position in the world, and all stare with dropped jaws today that he is ruling as a - gasp - RADICAL MARXIST. So, do regular, working class Americans get in the game, take back the GOP and fight, or do they allow the left to divide and subjegate us further? I am betting the former, my cynicism remains isolated and targetted, my faith in Americans in general remains somewhat high. Sure, I live in a state responsible for Ed Markey, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Barney Frank, and maybe someday Martha Coakley, one full of Marxist idiots that wouldn't be able to find a history book if you put their prozac on it, but the country between the coasts still remains strong. I'm thinking 2010 is going to be a good year(eventually), but it's going to be a tough stretch watching this bunch of unconstitutional radicals run amok in Washington D.C. with a Supreme Court that lacks the balls to do it's job and stop them.

Consider yourself called out, Justices Roberts, Thomas, Alito, and Scalia. We're getting ready to start the revolution without you.

Intellectual Morons

“I believe I’m the only candidate now who . . . supports coverage of everybody and reducing our costs through health care reform.’’ So says Martha Coakley, who just convinced a majority of voting Democrats in Massachusetts to send her to the general election for the U.S. Senate. Reducing our costs? Every study on the proposed take over of 17% of the economy by the government(on top of the 13% they took over in the first months of the Obama administration) shows that costs will indeed go up for most Americans, only the people currently paying nothing(Democrats) will see their costs unaffected. Furthermore, the proposal has been shown to restrict care to most Americans, and to reduce our national life expectancy. This is all freely available information, any intelligent person following the health care debate is aware of all this.

Another humdinger heard leaving the lips of Democrats everywhere is "Most Americans support health care reform", uttered by John Kerry, Juan Williams, Nancy Pelosi, and a whole cavalcade of communists. But reality paints a different picture, only one New York Times poll - most likely conducted in a methadone clinic, in a Home Depot parkinglot full of day workers, at an abortion clinic, or in some other Democrat hotbed - shows public support of the socialist takeover of healthcare. All credible polls show that support to be hovering somewhere in the mid to low 30s and sinking daily. Again, this is not just freely available information, it is common knowledge, so pervasive and widespread is the consensus in polling.

Thent there was Climategate, where environmentalist hacks looking to shackle western capitalism were caught red-handed what many of us paying attention have known they were doing for a long time - LYING(spotting a pattern here?). Ed Markey was just on Fox News Sunday, pointing to a 2007 edition of the Global Warming bible as a means to refute hacked emails from 2009. OK, I don't think any non-Democrats need a piece of scratch paper to figure out that problem. The global warming religion has become an almost symbolic representation of Democrat doghma, and Markey - like all liberal politicians - knows it. They're not even trying to make sense anymore, it's almost like they know they don't have to, their voters are like zombies at this point, only with less work ethic.

The next Big Liberal Lie is my least favorite one, but it is Barney Frank's most popular one. Barney Frank used a vestige of the unconstitutional New Dead, one of two not to be repealed, the FHA, to create a wealth-redistribution pyramid scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff blush. This "houses-as-an-entitlement" boondoggle begun under Bill Clinton was a lynchpin of the economic collapse of 2008. The Federal Government clumsily regulating the SEC - while people like Harry Markopolus screamed from the rooftops - was also a factor, but this was just another facet of what was going on at the FHA; the Federal Government cannot manage a lemonade stand, never mind a stock market. So, after Barney Frank blows up our economy, making working Americans upside down on their mortgages while paying off the loans of welfare addicted Democrats, Barney and the Democrats scream about Wall Street corruption and ineptitude. Classic misdirection. Any person that can count to 20 without taking their shoes off now sees right through the deceit of Barrack Obama, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and the other corrupt members of the Sweetheart Loan club, but Barney Frank easily won reelection, AFTER pulling off this scam.

The last complete falsehood that liberal Democrats wrap themselves in like a blanket with sleeves is that the first two stimulus packages have had positive economic effects, that they have "created or saved thousands of jobs". Patently false. All Americans with an IQ over 50 took notice that the government generated reports of stimulus activity were about as credible as an ACORN balance sheet. These socialist hacks progressed (to use their term) from inventing individual jobs that were created or saved to inventing whole congressional districts. I mean, you don't need to be Tim Roth to realize you are being lied to at this point, yet liberal Democrats like Martha Coakley

John Cusack could play a liberal Democrat(which he is) in a movie, and call it "Say Anything", because they can. This brings me to the underlying question I have in this political cesspool we call a Commonwealth - Are Democrats that stupid? We can bitch and moan about these elected criminals all we want - Ted Kennedy was one my entire lifetime - but sooner or later, we have to look at the solid majority of people in this state that vote for them. And then I have to face a solid fact - the majority of people around me as I go through my daily life are either incredibly stupid, incorrigably communist, or irrevocably corrupt. Those are the only choices. A third grader with access to the internet can go through a list of our long-time elected officials - Ed Markey, John Kerry, Martha Coakley, Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank, any Speaker of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the past 40 years - and see a rogue's gallery of dishonesty, incompetence, corruption, and just plain poor leadership. Yet all of them get reelected, what can you say about a state that has sent John Fraud Kerry to the U.S. Senate for twenty five years now?

To answer my own question, I think it is a combination of all three. Some liberal Democrats are communist, they are nihilistic progressives looking to destroy the current system to attain some imaginary society of ultimate fairness. They are ignorant more than stupid, if they had studied history written by someone besides Howard Zinn, ironically it would dawn upon them that our system has come closer to being a truly fair and equitable society than any in history, ask a Venezuelan about it if you'd like. And some liberal Democrats are that corrupt, they play off the last group (in a minute) while lining their pockets, this would encompass 99% of elected liberal Democrats. Think of Al Gore, who amassed $100 million without ever having a job by simply running around like a global warming revivalist preacher. Or John Kerry, another member of the "Never Worked a Real Job" club, paying an 18% tax rate on his annual bond interest while helping to drive our tax rates up to the 50% level. They support socialism because it lines their pockets, plain and simple. And that brings me to the last group of liberal Democrats - yes, they are just plain stupid. These are what Joe Stalin called "useful idiots", and if our country heads more in that direction, our own politboro members might do so more openly also. They get their political opinions off snippets of MSNBC during commercial breaks, from bumper stickers, and in the lunchrooms of their state jobs. There's no other way to slice it. If you have someone that believes a)socialized medicine will reduce costs and improve coverage, b)most Americans support healthcare, c)the Global Warming debate is settled science, d)that Wall Street caused the housing bubble to crash our markets, and e)the stimulus plan is stimulating the economy, then look around you; there is a stupid person in the room, and it is you! I've travelled the country over, and trust me, you'll find more intelligent Americans behind the wheels of a John Deere any given day than in a Cambridge coffeehouse.

Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.
